Technical Production Assistant (Salesforce)

Remote ● Contract Role (Part-Time)

Role Summary

The GoGiles Technical Production Assistant (Salesforce) supports essential business processes through the implementation of quality developed solutions.

You collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes business analysts, developers and product owners to execute polished deliverables. You support the Business Analysts and Product Owners in the Agile process, engaging with stakeholders to gather and implement requirements across multiple customer environments on the Salesforce platform. You ensure quality, on-time completion of all tasks, support services and verbal commitments. You are able to communicate effectively through oral and written project status updates and presentations as necessary to your team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience performing configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform

  • Actively engages with a cross-functional team to gather requirements, analyze issues and map to solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality

  • Follows nonfunctional and functional requirements for communication with both developers and system users

  • Accountable for assigned functional tracking and deliverables

  • Quickly grasps issues as they arise and presents logical paths forward, working towards resolution

  • Follows best practices within the Jira development environment to document process workflows and maintain deliverables

  • Writes in a clear, concise manner to convey technical information to internal team and developers

  • Performs system testing, including the development and maintenance of test scripts under the supervision of Business Analysts and Product Owners

  • Demonstrated experience implementing advanced Salesforce reports, dashboards, list views and business process automation

  • Gathers and processes feedback from internal team and users

  • Provides support to the team during and post-implementation

  • Ensures quality, on-time completion of all projects, support services, and verbal commitments

Skills Necessary

  • Strong analytical mind and technical aptitude

  • Dedicated research and presentation skills

  • Background with different analytical techniques including Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, and SWOT Analysis 

  • Sound decision-making with the ability to assess risks and benefits, receive feedback from stakeholders, and select a course of action

  • Ability to observe a problem from different perspectives, from a target user to that of a technical expert

  • Clear, concise writing to convey technical information to internal team and clients

  • Positive time management skills with the ability to set and balance priorities in order to remain focused within a rigorous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others

  • Proven ability to develop a strategy and write, communicate, facilitate, and present to all levels of IT, internal staff, and management

  • Preferred: active Salesforce Administrator certification

  • Preferred experience within the Insurance or Financial industries

Salary

$20-25/hour, DOE
